This course will continue to build and enhance learning on the use of grammatical forms and essential frequent vocabulary in a range of topic areas alongside basic structure of the target language. It will reinforce learning relating to the use of verbs to construct sentences, that will help you to interact with native speakers.
You will continue to have plenty of opportunities to practise communicating in Spanish on daily topics within the class.
On completion, you should have a greater level of Spanish vocabulary, which will increase confidence in speaking and responding to basic dialogues and some more complex dialogues.
This course is for those with a basic knowledge of Spanish (equivalent of at least 40 hours of classroom input and five of individual study).
This is a non-qualification course.
This course is scheduled for two hours per week in the evening, 6-8pm (term time only). All students are expected to attend all of their timetabled sessions on time, unless prior arrangement has been made and agreed with their tutor.
If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late for class, they may be asked to leave. If a student is absent for three consecutive weeks without notice they will automatically be withdrawn from the course.
