Higher Technical Qualification HTQ logo

Developed with employers and delivered by industry experts, we’re delighted to be offering three HTQs from January 2024.

Explore HTQs

Our exciting new courses are either a one-year (HNC) or two-year (HNC+HND) qualification in construction management or an HND in healthcare professions’ support.

Each of them involves just one day a week College study, with additional independent learning and online activities.

By completing an HTQ, you will achieve a Level 4 or 5 qualification in your subject area, setting you apart from other jobseekers in your chosen career and helping employers to bridge the current skills gaps.

HTQs are an alternative to apprenticeships or degrees. They may suit you if you want a more practical, employer-led study programme.
