Qualification types
We offer university-level foundation degrees, access to higher education, CTECs, BTECs, A Levels, T Levels, apprenticeships, professional qualifications, functional skills/GCSEs, ESOL courses and NVQ.
Level 4 - 5 foundation degrees
Ideal if you’re unsure about taking a full-time degree or want to study while you work. This one-year course can usually be topped up to a full degree at university.
Level 3 access to higher education
A Level 3 programme designed for students aged 19+ combining academic subjects with study skills support to prepare you for higher education.
Level 3 A Levels
Two-year subject-based qualifications that can lead to university, further study, training or work.
Level 3 T Levels
Introduced as an alternative to A Levels, T Levels are technical-based qualifications developed in collaboration with employers and businesses to meet industry needs and prepare students for work, further training or additional study.
Level 1 - 5 vocational certificates and Diplomas inc. CTEC, BTEC and UAL
Work-related qualifications which allow you to demonstrate your knowledge and skills through practical work. Offered as an extended certificate (equivalent to one A Level after two years) a diploma (equivalent to two A Levels after two years or an extended diploma (equivalent to three A Levels after two years).
Level 2 - 5 apprenticeships
A real job with training leading to a recognised qualification related to the job you do. They take between one and four years to complete, depending on the level and the job sector you’re in.
Level 4 - 5 functional skills/GCSEs (Level 2)
The opportunity to re-sit maths and/or English to improve your grade as part of a broader programme. A full assessment will determine the level and programme of study required.
Up to Level 1 ESOL qualifications
A range of courses for people looking to develop their English skills to deal more confidently with employers, colleges or universities as well as expressing their views and opinions more fluently.
Entry Level - Level 3 NVQs
National Vocational Qualifications for those who want practical training to gain a particular skill, progress into the world of work or advance their career.
