Autocare Technician apprenticeship (Level 2)

Description: Established in 1973, AMK has over 250 contract hire vehicles and employs over 400 staff, working with organisations and authorities including Hampshire and Surrey County Council.

You’ll assist with vehicle servicing, repairs and inspections, learning to use workshop tools safely and carry out basic mechanical tasks as your skills develop. You’ll help keep the workshop clean and organised, follow instructions and learn best practices while building your knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics and maintenance.

Wage: £15,600 to £24,784.50 a year (dependant on age and character)

Working Week: 37.5 hours per week

Description: Bedhampton Tyres is a local garage offering tyres, mobile tyre fitting and interim, full and major car servicing in Bedhampton and beyond. With many years of dedicated service, the team uses advanced equipment to provide automotive and tyre-related services. Skilled mobile technicians arrive in fully equipped vans to provide quick, reliable tyre assistance at your preferred location.

Working Week: 40 hours per week

Expected Apprenticeship Duration: 2 years and 6 months (30 months)

Property Maintenance Operative apprenticeship (Level 2)

Description: Providing property maintenance in Waterlooville and surrounding areas, the business specialises in kitchen and bathroom installations, alongside internal and external work. You’ll assist with day-to-day tasks while learning trades including plumbing, tiling, painting and decorating, and electrical work. Tasks vary according to customer requirements and may also include wallpaper replacement, exterior painting, fence and gate repairs, and laying patio slabs.

Working Week: 40 hours per week

Expected Apprenticeship Duration: 2 years (24 months)

Additional Details: Work is in Waterlooville and surrounding PO8 postcode areas, you will need to self-travel to these sites. This is a physical, hands-on role. You must be polite and respectful to customers when working on site.

Plumbing & Heating apprenticeship (Level 3)

Description: Established in 2005, Newteam Services is a family-run mechanical services company based in Titchfield, delivering plumbing, heating, gas and mechanical services across Hampshire and surrounding counties. You’ll join a supportive team, working alongside experienced engineers on residential and commercial projects to develop your skills. Tasks include assisting with installations, pipework, maintenance and repairs, preparing tools and materials, learning to interpret drawings and maintaining safe, organised work areas.

Location: Farm House, Unit 3 Fontley Rd, Ironmill Ln, Fareham PO15 6QT

Wage: £8 per hour

Working Week: 40 hours per week

Expected Apprenticeship Duration: 4 years (48 months)

Grade requirments: 4/C/Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths, GCSE Science

Additional Details: Be aware that this role involves travelling to customer sites across Hampshire and the surrounding areas. Public transport may not always be suitable, therefore access to reliable transport is desirable. The successful applicant will work in domestic and commercial environments, including schools, offices and other occupied buildings. Due to the nature of our work, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check prior to working on certain client sites. The role is physically active and involves manual handling, working indoors and outdoors, and occasionally working at height, with full training provided. Previous plumbing experience is not essential but preferable. Any practical experience, DIY knowledge, engineering interest or construction experience would be advantageous.

Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

Description: Woodcroft Primary School works as a team to provide an exciting curriculum that broadens children’s experiences and opportunities, with a vision to inspire aspirations, encourage curiosity and remove barriers to achievement

You’ll support individuals and groups of pupils with learning, behaviour and special needs, assist teachers with lessons, activities and assessments and help monitor pupil progress. You’ll also support the wider school, including playtime supervision, working with parents alongside teachers and following school, national and statutory policies. Training includes shadowing an experienced LSA, curriculum and behaviour support, health and safet , manual handling and working independently with pupils under teacher guidance.

Expected Apprenticeship Duration: 1 year (12 months)
