Our specialist staff will support you throughout your time at College, so that you can develop the skills and qualifications you need to move onto the next stage of your life.
Study Centres
The College offers a wide range of learning and academic support to our students.
Students are always welcomed at our Study Centres where they can access a wide range of services and use them as a quiet comfortable place to carry out some independent study.
For those requiring some additional academic support, the following is available to all students:
- maths & English - 1:1 support
- support with vocational work - 1:1 support
- support with academic work - 1:1 support
- help with assignments - 1:1 support.
In addition, the Study Centres regularly offers small group timetabled sessions, which are open to all students. They cover:
- study skills
- exam revision
- exam preparation
- research skills
- note taking
- time management
- organisational skills
The following assessment is available to all students:
- exam concession assessment
- assessment to give probability of Dyslexia (not a formal diagnosis).
Whilst using the Study Centre, you can receive assistance with printing and laminating and the purchase of stationery supplies.
