It does not allow candidates to carry out any work on the gas installation or installed appliances covered as a Category 1 candidate in CCN1.
Although Category 3 new entrants may apply, the course is generally for candidates who can demonstrate industry experience in a related field such as a Category 2 gas main / service layer.
This is a two day course, with your first day spent completing your theory and practical training and the second day focued on assessments.
You'll be assessed through a multiple-choice theory and practical assessment to national industry standards.
You will be awarded a BPEC limited scope domestic gas meter certificate, allowing you to apply to the Gas Safe Register for limited work on domestic gas meters.
