City of Portsmouth College's one-day reassessment course is for you if you currently install, commission and service domestic vented and unvented hot water systems in accordance with current legislation, including document G3 of the Building Regulations.
You must already hold the qualification and need to renew or have a certificate that expired no more than 12 months ago, to undertake this reassessment.
The training covers:
- design and self-certifying requirements
- installation – three-tier level of protection, safe discharge pipework etc.
- safety controls
- commissioning and servicing.
This reassessment course is for candidates who curently hold the qualification or have a current certificate that expired no more than 12 months ago.
This is a one-day course which includes training and assessments.
You will be assessed to the BPEC industry standards, with practical and written assessments.
You'll obtain a BPEC certificate of competence which is valid for five years, allowing you to install, commission and maintain vented and unvented domestic hot water systems.
