This initial CKR1 course at City of Portsmouth College is for Category 1 qualified gas engineers who want to add gas cookers, hobs and ranges to their CCN1 qualification.
To take this course you must have your CCN1 qualification and be working as a gas engineer for a minimum of 12 months.
The one-day course covers:
- installation
- commissioning
- servicing
- repair of domestic gas cookers, hobs and ranges.
You must be a Category 1 gas enginer with CCN1 and a minimum of 12 months' experience.
This is a one-day course incorporating both training and assessment.
You will be assessed through BPEC by multiple choice exam and practical assessment to national standards.
You'll be awarded a BPEC CKR1 certificate, allowing you to apply to the Gas Safe Register to work on domestic gas cookers, hobs and ranges.
