This initial HTR1 course at City of Portsmouth College is ideal for Category 1 qualified gas engineers who want to add gas fires and heaters to their existing CCN1 qualification.
You must be qualified as a gas engineer for a minimum of 12 months before being able to undertake this one-day course.
The course covers:
- installation
- commissioning
- servicing
- repair of domestic gas fires and heaters.
You must be a Category 1 gas engineer with CCN1 and a minimum of 12 months' experience.
This is a one-day course of training and assessment.
You will be assessed through BPEC by multiple choice exam and practical assessment to national standards.
You'll be awarded a BPEC HTR1 certificate, allowing you to aplly to the Gas Safe Register to work on domestic gas fires and heaters.
