This initial LAU1 course at City of Portsmouth College is for Category 1 qualified gas engineers who wish to extend scope and add domestic gas fired tumble dryers to their existing CCN1 qualification.
The one-day course covers:
- installation
- commissioning
- servicing
- repair of domestic gas fired tumble dryers.
Engineers wishing to extend scope must have been qualified as a gas engineer for a minimum of 12 months before being able to undertake this course.
This is a one-day course covering both your training and assessment.
You'll be assessed through BPEC by multiple choice exam and practical assessments, to national standards.
On completion of this course, you'll be awarded a BPEC domestic gas fired tumble dryers certificat, which will allow you to apply to the Gas Safe Register to work on.
