City of Portsmouth College's initial DAH1 course is for Category 1 qualified gas engineers who wish to extend scope and add domestic ducted air heaters (warm air units) to their existing CCN1 qualification.
Engineers wishing to extend scope must have been qualified as a gas engineer for a minumum of 12 months before being able to undertake this course.
This one-day course covers:
- installation
- commissioning
- servicing
- repair of domestic ducted air heaters (warm air units).
Candidates must be a Category 1 gas engineer with CCN1, with a minumum of 12 months experience.
This is a one-day course of training and assessment.
You will be assessed through BPEC by multiple choice exam and practical assessment to national standards.
On completion, you'll be awarded a BPEC HTR1 certificate, allowing you to apply to the Gas Safe Register to work on domestic ducted air heaters (warm air units).
