This introductory course is designed to teach students to communicate with deaf people in British Sign Language (BSL) on a range of simple topics for use in everyday life.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to understand and use a limited range of simple relevant words and sentences in BSL, and you will be able to take part in simple, everyday conversations in BSL.
No previous experience or knowledge of British Sign Language is required.
This course is scheduled for one hour a week, Thursdays 5-6pm (term time only). You will be expected to attend all of your timetabled sessions on time, unless prior agreement has been made and agreed with your tutor.
This fun and informative course will help expand and practise your skills in BSL.
