City of Portsmouth College Celebrates Creativity
PUBLISHED 17-06-2026

Final year students of creative subjects at City of Portsmouth College had their chance to shine last week with a two-day showcase of their best work.
The Creative Festival took place at Sixth Form Campus and Highbury Campus, with everything from performing arts to visual art on display, plus catering stands and the annual end-of-year hair and make-up competition and awards. It was a great opportunity for students to show family and friends – and the public – their talents.
David Lycett, Assistant Principal of Humanities, English, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Media and Film, said: “The Creative Festival, held each year, is a joyous opportunity to come together as a creative community to celebrate the journeys of our young people. These shows demonstrate the fantastic skill of our students and are an opportunity for us all to come together to celebrate creativity, hard work, and next steps.”
