This course will develop your knowledge and understanding of bullying. Students will recognise the signs and understand the effects bullying has on children and young people.

Units may include:

  • action to be taken when a child and young person is being bullied
  • principles of bullying
  • recognising bullying in children and young people
  • understanding government guidelines for bullying.

Students are expected to have at least a Level 1 qualification in English, which will be assessed before starting the course.

This is a distance learning course, with 120 guided hours. Assessment must meet the requirements of the identified assessment strategy/principles. All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a pass.

This qualification is online only so you can study it at your own pace in your own workspace.

After successfully finishing this course, you could go on to study:

  • TQUK Level 2 Award in Mentoring
  • TQUK Level 2 Award in Equality and Diversity
  • TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.
