- unsafe situations procedures
- gas pipework
- tightness testing and purging of LP/MP installations
- regulators

- gas controls.
Includes the following appliances:
CENWAT - Boilers / water heaters
CKR1 - Cookers / hobs / ranges
HTR1 - Gas fires / wall heaters
DAH1 - Domestic air heaters (warm air)
This course is for Category 1 experienced and qualified gas engineers who need to renew their CCN1. If certification expired more than 12 months ago, then the engineer will need to sit the initial assessment route.
You can renew up to six months in advance without losing any time on their current certificate.
The College runs this course at least three times a month, starting on a Monday. Experienced engineers can comfortably complete the course in three to four days.
The CCN1 ACS Gas reassessement is assessed through BPEC in line with all current industry standards. Assessments are both written and practical.
Once completed you can renew your current ACS CCN1 qualification for a further five years and also apply for Gas Safe Registration.
