This course will develop your knowledge and understanding of bullying. Students will recognise the signs and understand the effects bullying has on children and young people.
Units may include:
- action to be taken when a child and young person is being bullied
- principles of bullying
- recognising bullying in children and young people
- understanding government guidelines for bullying.
Students are expected to have at least a Level 1 qualification in English, which will be assessed before starting the course.
This qualification is online only so you can study it at your own pace in your own workspace.
This is a distance learning course, with 120 guided hours. Assessment must meet the requirements of the identified assessment strategy/principles. All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a pass.
After successfully finishing this course, you could go on to study:
- TQUK Level 2 Award in Mentoring
- TQUK Level 2 Award in Equality and Diversity
- TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.
