This course will show you how to create a logical folder structure and teach you how to move files into their corresponding folders for easy retrieval. File types and storage terminology will be explained.

At the end of the course, you will be able to create folders, move or copy files, create a back up strategy and learn how to use a USB storage device. A vital skill every computer users should be able to achieve is the correct and efficient storage and retrieval of their files. Having a well organised file structure aids in creating a backup strategy and allows you to retrieve files instantly and take back control of the computer storage.

Please note, this course is taught in various locations.

There are no formal entry requirements to join this course.

Your progress will be assessed by your course tutor through participation in group discussions and activities.

Classes are three hours long and will be held over five weeks.
