This course is for anyone looking to become assistant practitioners in healthcare. This qualification will train you for a range of settings, such as nursing assistant roles, care navigation, planning, and assessment.
Units may include:
*Please note, this qualification involves just one day a week College study, with additional independent learning and online activities.
You will need to have completed a relevant Level 3 qualification to join this course.
However, applications for this course are assessed on an individual basis, so if you don't have a relevant qualification, but have relevant experience, your application will be considered.
This is held one day a week, for one year.
You will need to attend college one day a week, plus additional independent learning and online activities.
This qualification also requires at least 450 hours of work experience/placement in healthcare settings and a PLAD portfolio, including reflections on placement/workplace learning and experiences, to be completed throughout the qualification.
