For young people looking to begin a career in the healthcare and nursing sector, T Levels are a high-quality, work-focused alternative to A Levels, offering new routes to employment or further learning.
Units include:
- working within the health and science sector
- science concepts
- employer set project
- adult nursing.
Our T Level Health and Nursing course is designed to increase your employment and progression prospects by having extended hands-on experience in real-life healthcare work placements, in which you will be supported by an expert.
Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English, maths and science.
This course is full time for two years and you are required to complete a 45-day minimum industry placement.
Some lessons will take place in our new classrooms set up as a hospital-style ward. Each T level also includes an industry placement that lasts at least 45 days. This will give you an excellent insight into the industry, as well as developing your key skills and knowledge. Assessment is through a combination of externally set exams, an employer set project, final practical assignment and employer observations. You could receive an overall grade of Pass, Merit, Distinction or Distinction*
You could progress to a degree, an apprenticeship, or into employment.
