This course will develop your knowledge and understanding in order to prepare you for roles involving care planning.
Units may include:
- preparing for care planning
- implementing and evaluating a care plan
- theories and principles underpinning care planning
- principles of supporting an individual to maintain personal hygiene
- provide support for sleep.
Students are expected to have at least a Level 1 qualification in English, which will be assessed before starting this course.
This qualification is online only so you can study at your own pace, in your own workspace. This qualification includes 140 guided learning hours.
This is a distance learning course. Assessment must meet the requirements of the identified assessment strategy/principles. All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a pass.
After successfully completing this course, you could go on to study:
- Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
- Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care
- Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support
- Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services.
