This course will develop your knowledge and understanding of the retail sector and to introduce the retail industry to those recently employed or seeking employment in the sector.
Units may include:
- understanding customer service in the retail sector
- understanding the retail selling process
- understanding how individuals and teams contribute to the effectiveness of a retail business
- understanding how a retail business maintains health and safety on its premises
- understanding retail consumer law
- understand how to deal with customer queries and complaints in a retail environment.
Students are expected to have at least a Level 1 qualification in English, which will be assessed before starting this course.
This qualification is online only so you can study at your own pace, in your own workspace. This qualification includes 200 guided learning hours.
This is a distance learning course. Assessment must meet the requirements of the identified assessment strategy/principles. All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a pass.
After successfully completing this course, you could go on to study either a:
- Level 2 Certificate in Retail Skills
- Level 2 Diploma in Retail Skills
- Level 3 Certificate in Retail Knowledge Structure.
