How to apply

STEP 1 – APPLICATION
When you are ready, register for a student account and submit your application form.

STEP 2 – INTERVIEW (VIDEOCALLS)
Once we receive your application, we will arrange a personal interview via videocall for you to discuss your future at City of Portsmouth College. We aim to email with your interview date within two weeks of receiving your application, although slightly longer is possible in busy periods. Interviews take about an hour and cover your course choices and career aims, E6 personal development programme pathways, transport, finance options, additional support and life at College.

STEP 3 – YOUR OFFER OF A PLACE
In most cases, we are able to make an offer at or shortly after interview and you will be sent a formal offer letter via email, when we will confirm your course choices.

STEP 4 – ACCEPT YOUR OFFER
Once your have been offered a place, if you wish to accept our offer, we will ask you to:

• pay the deposit for student fees
• pay for homestay (if required)
• prepare the necessary documentation for a Tier 4 Visa application

All details on how to do this will be sent to you via email.

STEP 5 – ENROLMENT
You will be invited to one of our enrolment days which take place at the end of August/beginning of September. During this time, your timetable will be finalised and you will be introduced to staff, campus and key areas that will support College life.

International programmes – Fri 30 June 2023

Students applying after this date will be placed on a waiting list and contacted if/when places become available.

The following subjects have an earlier deadline date of Fri 10 February 2023
