The King’s Trust Team Programme is a great opportunity to develop your existing skills and gain new ones – ideal if you are aged 16 to 25, unemployed and lacking in qualifications or confidence. Even better, it’s free of charge and doesn’t affect any benefits.
You’ll undertake collaborative and team-building activities, career development and planning sessions and community work. You’ll also get the opportunity to develop your maths and English skills.
City of Portsmouth College is also the first provider in the country to offer one extra-special team programme designed for young people with a learning difficulty or disability.
Once the 12 weeks are complete, you will gain a nationally recognised qualification!
This programme is aimed at 16 to 25 year olds. You don't need any specific entry requirements apart from a willingness to learn.
100% attendance to all aspects of the course is required to gain the full qualification.
The course is assessed using a range of methods including witness statements, picture and video evidence alongside written statements.
Seven out of ten young people supported by King's Trust move on to education, training or employment. There are also opportunities to progress to another course within the College or an apprenticeship.
